Though this has gotten me thinking though about origami, and various icons that could be made based on origami. Though again I don't know if those are right for the app_server, but they could certainly make interesting icons for other things. My basic thought was that the app_server icon should either play off something artistic (palette, easel, artwork) or somehow play off the 3 cube application icon. I see you are sort of doing the latter with the paper cube. > - net_server: a globe + some orbitals; This one is pretty nice, but it also quite close the the NetSurf icon/logo: http://www.netsurf-browser.org/ > - touchpad: a touchpad; I had the same problem with this icon: most touchpads are in laptops which cannot really be represented as an object, but I don't think the solid background is a good idea. I decided just to make the icon into a stand-alone touchpad. Here is my current work-in-progress icon (I'm still not sure about the color, the shadow is off, and I need to add a cord like the mouse icon): http://ryanleavengood.com/haiku/touchpad_icon_wip.png > - diskusage: this is the same currently in the build but its perspective > looks odd with the whole rest so I edited the top and now it seems better. Yeah this looks a bit better, I can update it in the Haiku repo. -- Regards, Ryan
