[openbeos] Re: I am back

Finn,

I can't speak for Michael or any of the other OpenBeOS devs (though I'm
pretty sure they feel the same way), but I find it highly encouraging
that non-developers are hanging out on the list. It means that the user
community is paying attention to what we're doing, which maybe means
we're giving them some hope. That can only be good for everybody.

You absolutely should not feel bad, and I don't think that was Michael's
intent. We're all hoping that the lurking developers will sign up to
help with something -- I certainly do -- because we have quite a bit to
do. It's natural, especially after everything the community has been
through, to be a bit hesitant and have a "wait and see" attitude, just
as it's natural for us to want everybody to jump on board so we can get
cracking! =) I hope our continued efforts convince those lurking devs
that we're quite serious and that they should join up.

So please don't take any offense. The last thing we want to do is scare
the community off.

Thanks,

e
