I remember I tried different things with regard to boot files... see
data/boot_cd/hfs.map
maybe you can get it to load
data/boot_cd/ofboot.b
correctly ?

Sadly OF on my old Mac clone is quite broken it seems.
Maybe QEMU would now work, would need to test again.

I recall trying:

qemu-system-ppc -nographic -serial stdio -cdrom generated-ppc/haiku-
boot-cd-ppc.iso -boot d

Use Ctrl-a x to quit it.

But it seems their OF (which is now OpenBIOS instead of OpenHackWare) 
doesn't set some translation tables up properly.
