Hello,

Heh, this very much depends on the ARM core used. Almost all new
ARM11-based processors actually support floating point natively (using
something like a coprocessor). I know, I have some developmentboards at
work with these babies...

Hmm, I would say a simplified Tracker ;)

Looking at the Samsung Movinand technology they announced recently to be
up to 8GB, I wonder... ;)

Hmmm, let me check this ARM 11 dev board.... TV out... Video In.... 5.1
sound... Hmmm... need I say more ;)

Which, thanks to Travis' nice work at the base, isn't as hard as it
might sound. I can tell you that Haiku is a lot easier set up for arch
ports then most other code bases I've seen....
Anyhow, we can discuss this all we want, until somebody steps up and
tries it it is mostly wasted words/time. If somebody feels like it, let
them try, and lets see how far that gets. We can always decide then to
make a seperate HaikuIA branch if we'd see use for that :D
HTH,
Ithamar.
