FWIW, non-technical users just ignore EULAs. Power users will sometimes if the software is from a source which is not trusted. As much as I would rather do almost anything else, I read Microsoft's and that of a number of other proprietary apps. It's probably not going to amount to much either way, considering the nearly-moot legal standpoint and the huge lack of attention given to them. It's more of a matter of principles. Personally, I'd do away with them just because they get in the way and it doesn't seem to fit with the general goodwill idea behind Haiku's licensing.
