I tend to think it was probably Zeta's fault. My previous/normal
development machine had a Linksys ethernet card based on a DEC chipset
and used the tulip driver under net_server, R5+BONE, and Be's internal
"Exp" (which Zeta was based on) flawlessly. Bernd & company probably
made some changes that affected either their version of BONE or the
driver. Then again, I've never owned a copy of Zeta to know see if I
might have encountered the same problems.
