When testing in QEMU lately I noticed a lot of strange cursor
behavior: mostly the cursor movement is very jerky at times and tends
to lock up and then "warp" across the screen. The problem seems to be
the app_server cursor drawing. I think this was changed recently?
Maybe the drawing thread priority was changed?
On another note, besides this cursor problem the system seems faster
in general in QEMU, which is great :)

I've not got any older images to test on, but my new-ish PC is showing the exact same behaviour, cursor can move a bit then freezes.
