There is some good information in that document, but it's superfluous for me.
I bought one of the last available hard copies of that book last March. I'm
glad to know they made it freely available since then.
It's the stuff that goes before getting to that book that's not documented
anywhere (that I've found). I'll volunteer to put it all together and write
it down for the web site once I get over all the humps myself.
Here's my current situation. I downloaded the Max V3B2 and got the CD Burned.
I had to download Nero and use that to do the burn. Roxio didn't believe the
.iso file was an iso.
I now have another problem. I installed BeOS to the second hard drive on my
system and the BeOS bootman said that it couldn't find the bios number for the
disk it was installed to. Any suggestions for either fixing the problem so
that bootman can be used or an alternate boot manager? I've got XP already
installed on the first drive so would rather use something that doesn't need
its own partition.
