That could easily be temporarily disabled by sending a message to
whichever input_server add-on you're using. If that would happen to be
ticWorkspaceGadget, I'd have to add another message telling it to
temporarily disable itself. Also, from ticWG-0.4, you actually have to
hit the border with a speed above a certain treshold for it to change
workspace - this means you can keep the mouse at the border for as long
as you want to.

This feature can only be controlled by the app_server. Is that a
correct assumption? (to avoid people flashing the border for fun)
