[haiku] GPT Support ?

Hello Haiku Devs,
whats the state of the GPT support ?
as far as i know not that good.
yes there is a tickets for gpt [1]
Drivesetup don't detect the gpt partitions
I can't do a hybrid partitontable as it would break windows 7 efi boot
it would be great too have an efi based bootloder haiku.efi
it would be great if i can install haiku and the bootloader into a gpt
partition i can then add a proper entry to grub
