[openbeos] GCC-version mismatches...

Hi there,
it seems the problem of people trying to use the wrong GCC to for building
haiku comes up much more often than I had expected. Especially so, since two
mongths ago I changed the configure script to explicitly check the version of
the installed gcc and bail if the required compiler isn't found.
So I wonder, guys, how *did* you manage to run configure without installing
the correct gcc?
