The problem with those consoles is they use very different chips than 
the "desktop" stations, with SIMD units and other weird ness, let alone 
other hardware that isn't documented.

So it will be more work than regular boxen, or even embedded 
motherboards that use U-Boot but are nevertheless fully documented.
