God, that's such a stupid discussion.
Many open source projects have similar guidelines.
Look at Firefox and Thunderbird for example. Only official release
builds contain trademarked branding. Nightly builds do not contain it.

Jorge, just remove/change two graphics: Boot screen and About window.
Eg call it FalterOS with a sub-headline "A Haiku-based release not
endorsed by Haiku Inc due its pre-alpha quality" use a butterfly as logo
("Falter" is not only an English verb, but also German for butterfly).

If you need additional help, I'm sure the Haiku devs will support you.
Maybe they add a compiler switch to enable community branding similar to
