I agree with you that we should move quickly. We all know this.
Let me just talk for a moment about what is slowing us down:
Time and Money

Time to code and write
Money to:
        1) Buy time (in terms of hiring people, whatever)
        2) Buy equipment

Yes. Everytime I see something about MS, I have a little more hope that their 
reign of terror will end.
