Starting Media Prefs claims it loads media server - but there's no outputs 
listed in the Audio (or Video) node MenuFields. Loading the media server from 
terminal doesn't make any difference either. I'll try and get a syslog for you.

Would you prefer these sort of user problems reported through bugzilla?
