That would be even cooler, but either one needs to carry the
"task descriptor", because you can do plenty of thing with an
"image", and so you with a "person". 

The "Task Manager" Drag-n-Drop, however, would be the central
..uhmm... task manager and metaphor for performing anything on
the computer. It's the "glue" that holds it all together, whereas
other approaches have too much potential for confusion, like that
dumb Windows XP CD-insert notification dialog, that confuses the
hell out of anyone not knowing what to do.
