these two last words express my personal views and passion for BeOS
(and hence Haiku).

in a way, it's OOP applied to an actual OS.
re-using translators to extend program functionality,
re-using data structures for different apps ( people files,
and it should be possible to use replicants to extend features to
applications. eg, replicating Colors! ( http://bebits.com/app/2429
) into apps like WonderBrush, Backgrounds preflet.

In sum, i find Be's use and re-use of data, libraries, and small
utilities to construct functional apps to be one of it's defining
characteristics.

question:
is there a way to have a program create a replicant of another at
run-time? eg, WonderBrush creating and integrating a replicant of
Colors! without the aide of user-input?
