Why? People will be more likely to donate if they _don't_ know where the
money goes?

If you wanted to collect a great deal of money and pile it up, great. I
don't think I'm going to donate to this, though.

I think that this is the problem w/ money to begin w/. It becomes the end
rather than a means. Sad.

But I thought that the point was to create bounties for certain projects.
The ones that are the most popular will get the most cash. This will
encourage projects for things people would be reluctant to work on
otherwise.

I see how you can make more money, but I don't think that this is the
goal. Getting working system it the goal, and so far, it has been done w/
very little money changing hands.
