..just in case you weren't sure.
Also, have you tried using ReiserFS with PuppyLinux? That would allow
us to --use-xattr, which is preferred on non-BFS partitions.
From some research a do or two ago, i found this:
To use reiser, you need to install reiserfsprogs-3.6.20 from the
package manager.
