Finally :0, heh, i was looking endlessly about Console mode on BeOS. the reason might be quite different from what everyone are used to: I'm an ascii artist :0, this means i need 80x25 , regular full-screen pure TextMode. (and not fullscreened terminal with Couriur New font...) This is needed for apps like Aciddraw or Empathy (on dos - www.thuglife.org) to work. So yes, there is still a need for a console mode, even on a good running beos machine.. that would save the need to use DOSBOX's fullscreen mode as an emulation to DOS. : ) Guy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- On Fri, 16 May 2003 00:29:10 +0200 (CEST), Franן?½?§ois Revol <revol@xxxxxxx> wrote: En rן?½??ponse ן?½?? Doesn't hurt to keep the console dev from NewOS /methinks... will help debugging our app_server on our kernel. Franן?½??ois.
