when things get messed up with CVS, the best thing to do is to SSH
to the server that hosts the files, cd to the repository, and clean

Since we're using SF, there is no support for ssh access to the cvs server.

What needs to be done, is to file a service request (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=1&atid=200001) and ask for the deletion of the files.

This usually takes two days.
