[openbeos] Building on 64 bit linux

Hi
I remember seeing some commits regarding the topic a while back. About a year
ago I tried to build Haiku on Ubuntu amd64 without success, and had to use
x86 instead. Now with the new release I'm thinking about switching back to
amd64 again. Can anyone confirm whether building Haiku on amd64 now actually
work?
