Existing users already log on with their e-mail address to Bugzilla
so how are you handling the migration of users? One way would be to
allow the first log on with the existing user address and then
request the user to change the password allowing it to be encrypted
with a different salt. Probably too late for this now.
I think we can live without this. Trac doesn't need a user DB to
notify people and nobody can modify any sensitive data (actually there
is none apart from your email address which was visible before, too).
So, what would user migration give us?

I think we can live without this. Trac doesn't need a user DB to notify people and nobody can modify any sensitive data (actually there is none apart from your email address which was visible before, too). So, what would user migration give us?
