The non-project people most likely don't have the skills or the time to 
do a good job at designing a suitable (better-than-Be) next-gen API for 
Haiku. I'm thinking it would be beneficial to have had at least a few 
years of experience with coding for different platforms. I don't count 
myself in that crowd, being primarily BeOS-native.

If anyone feels offended perhaps you're the one who will bring balance 
to the force and bring us the R2 API. And what about GlassElevator?
