If you must use OpenSound/OSS on a machine with Intel HDA, make sure
to remove or otherwise disable the native HDA driver or you're risking
a crash and/or conflicts with OSS... in fact, you should generally
only install OSS when you're positive no other driver is already
accessing your sound hardware already.
