Depends on what you do. Our stage1 bootloader, for example is in Intel 
style, and that's okay. However, if you do Media Kit optimizations, I 
would recommend you to use GAS style.
But IIRC GCC supports Intel style, too, since some time, although I 
don't know how you activate it :)
