I just was talking about that on BeShare...
someone used part of my XEmacs patch coz he wanted an setitimer() 
implementation and I had to write one for XEmacs.
BeUnited used to have a download sections where all those little thingies 
could take place so everyone could use them.
It would be nice to have this somewhere.
