[openbeos] Application development

Hi,

first of all I wanted to congratulate everyone for the efforts made.
Keep up the good work!

I wanted to know if there's still something as the original BeUnited, I
mean, some iniciative that organizes application development... there
should be something like that I think! Or what's the plan? We are gonna
end up with a marvelous first version of OBOS and again no applications
to run for it?

Don't get me wrong, I know there are a lot of people still making their
applications, but I think we need some organization to gather efforts
and develop some big sized apps too. There are surely a lot of
non-OS-coders like me willing to help, but on the other hand not wanting
to develop yet another funny-but-already-there one-person application
(image viewer, etc.). That organization should at least make sure that
no duplicated efforts are made (the rest can be archieved via
SourceForge if you want).

Any ideas? Any BeUnited guy listening?
