[openbeos] Alpha Beta

To throw in $0.02:  We have alsways used the following guidelines for Alpha
and Beta:

Alpha:  The features are defined but not all in place.  Expect features to
be missing and the code base frigile.

Beta: All features implemented and functional but expect code to likely
crash or give poor/incorrect results.  Code is in clean up mode and fastly
eliminating crashes and poor/incorrect solutions.  Beta code can be demoed,
but at risk.
