>If it is BeOS R5 (Pro or PE) that you are trying to mount, please refer >questions to one of the previously mentioned beusertalk mailing lists >or BeShare. Or you can email people offlist with questions, I'm sure >many would help you with an answer (I don't know this one though, >sorry). I second that. In fact, these things are all off topic: installing BeOS or any BeOS piece of software discussions of any software licenses discussions of installers, how to design or build them * comparisons to other operating systems suggestions about features for OpenBeOS ** Criticisms of Be, Be employees, decisions of Be, marketing of Be, or criticisms of anyone, for that matter Anything *NOT* related to development and or packaging of OpenBeOS R1 * - this topic has been beaten to *DEATH*. IF you are really interested, let Aaron know and we can put together a team for this. But it is time to put up or shut up with this ** these suggestions are to be made in the Glass Elevator mailing list I know that this sounds harsh. But most of the active coders have come to me asking for this list to be split into dev and "regular". If that happens, the developers will all disappear. Becuase this list is just *too* chatty. When we were 30 people, it was different. There are now > 400 people on this list. Remember that. Everytime you click send, 400 people will read what you wrote. Was it really interesting to that many? Could you just reply off list to the poster? Or CC a couple of people? This list's traffic has to go down to a reasonable, interesting level. Sorry, but that is how it has to be, or nothing will ever get done. Thank you all for your understanding, Michael, playing List Master
