Mille Bornes ... Yes it's me. And I still have nightmares about it.

That night (3 am) I just fixed the last bug for a R3 version. I go to bed
and in the morning ... my hard drive was totally screwed up. I felt my heart
getting out of my chest : the only copy of my source code was gone. I was
only able to save my last binary build, and in order to release it, I had to
hack directly into the executable to change my testing values (just 2 cards
in the deck, had to hack it to return to the 102 cards, etc. ). Then I
released it for BeOS R3. Two weeks later, the bomb : Be Inc will release a
BeOS R4, that is not binary compatible with R3... yeah !

Since then, I never got the patience to remade from scratch my code. I know
it's a pretty small program, but re-programming something exactly the same
I've done few days ago... urg...

But I gain something precious : a strong compulsivity to multiply source
code backups ... :-)

- Steve
