This is a GE topic.
For all intents and purposes Mesa is %99.44/100 percent pure OpenGL.
Crystal Space is a game engine that uses D3D and OpenGL for its rendering.
I've used Crystal Space for projects ; not bad, but not an OpenBeOS
requirement, and not relevent to recreating the existing Game Kit.
