Hey Haiku-web,
I have some comments on building Haiku from Fedora 11 on 64 bits:
1) Just noticed some things on [1]: The box with the compilation example
lists --use-32-bit, while it should be --use-32bit.
2) In addition, in Fedora 11 (64 bit) I had to install the following
packages to do a build using the command on the page linked above.
(there is no multilib package in F11)
libstdc++-devel.i586
glibc-devel.i586
3) Oh yeah, and my fedora didn't come with wget :). I know it is a bit
silly, but maybe it can be listed as a dependency as it is used by the
build system.
4) Perhaps there can be an extra page added to the documentation (next
to [2]) that discusses extra details building haiku on a 64bit linux
platform. Then this information doesn't have to spoil the nice guide at
[2], and it can list some details (such as the above) about differences
between 64bit distributions.
Just some thoughts, keep up the good work on the documentation,
Pieter
