I highly suggest that before you embark into making a migration from Trac to something else, you ask those who actually use the current bug tracking system. You may find out that the current users are happy with what they have, making your effort a moot one.
Check out the feature requests from Marcus: they are not doable in Trac. Given that I am thinking of doing the work at BeGeistert the users will be able to provide direct feedback but I'm more than happy to leave things as they are.
