Remi,
I appreciate your contribution to the cause, I really do. Also, nobody
is blaming you for the script not being integrated yet. But... :)
Your sermon about your professionalism, how many people you manage at a
"webagency", how you organise resources, your responsibilities at your
job, blah blah blah is totally irrelevant to this discussion and this
list. The concept of teamwork that Curtis refers to is the one
relevant here, not in a business setting. You are mistaken if you want
to bring a hierarchical organization mindset here, as it will not work.
We are a very loosely organized group of volunteers where people pickup
stuff to do based on their skills, time, motivations and mood of the
day, and we use this list as a means of communication amongst everyone.
So, while I was the one who started this thread, when you responded by
making your PHP code available on the list, you helped Haiku, not me
personally (I don't own or run Haiku). I just happened to pick that up
and post it on a Drupal page so that someone else could work on it; the
"I sent it to Jorge so..." does not apply here.
Finally, with regards to the meeting, the fact is that you called it,
you changed the schedule and then you did not show up. I can sympathize
with the fact that you have more important obligations (we all do!), but
a short "sorry, emergency at work so need to postpone meeting" message
would have taken you no more than 10 seconds to send, and it would have
been the very least that you could do, at least out of courtesy. After
all, our time is as precious as yours.
Cheers,
Koki
