Submissions go into the moderation queue and remain there until an
admin publishes them. This is by design.

It's a bug in the input filter that filters email addresses; I believe
the Drupal 5.x version of this filter fixes the problem.

It is not based on modules, but rather a combination of a custom content
type and Drupal views (which are like queries). If you are seeing
duplicate entries in the list of conferences, it's probably a problem
with the view(s) that generate it.

Anyway, the whole conferences thing is pretty messed up; you may want
to reimplement it more cleanly after the upgrade to Drupal 5 is done.

Cheers,

Jorge
