Same here.

gandi.net looks fine to me and $12,50 doesn't seem too bad.

namecheap.com looks fine, too, but looking at their prices, I wonder how
they manage to make money off it ...

In any case, I think Haiku, Inc. should just pick a DNS hoster and someone
who has done it before should do the transfers (possibly dropping some of
our current domains on the way, as I really doubt it makes sense to keep
them all).

On top of transfering the domains, we should think about setting up a
secondary nameserver on baron and/or somewhere else, as this way we should
be able to avoid situations like the current one.

Does anyone here have experience with setting up a secondary DNS?

cheers,
        Oliver
