In previous discussions on user management, there was a discussion on
OpenID. My personal take is that we should not be an openid provider.
The reason is that it would make us responsible to take care of the
security and the privacy of the users. That's a responsibility I would
not like to have.

As for the other option, allowing OpenID logins, that might be a
discussion we could have in the future.

As a closing remark, we are still running drupal 4, there is an openid
release for this version of drupal, but it never left development
stages.
