Hello!
I don't know if this has been brought up before (a quick search didn't
find anything), but I'd like to make the proposal of haiku-os.org as
an OpenID provider. Why that?
Since Alpha 1 is coming now or then, new Haiku community pages "spring
up like mushrooms". For example, there's haiku-gazette.de, a nascent
German community. The page uses Drupal, and since Drupal 6 has OpenID
support be default, it would be nice to just login as
[user]@haiku-os.org and [user]@haiku-os.org's password.
OpenID client support is integrated in Drupal core [1], and there's a
(development) module called OpenID Provider [2], which adds the
functionality of a provider.
I don't think it's that hard to implement, but it may give a great
benefit to our users in the future!
Sincerely,
Julius
