Howdy,

I don't mind at all! On the contrary, it feels good to get help. ;)

My questions are: why rounded, why icons?

The rounded corners look smoother and fit better (IMO) in our current design, where we use rounded corners for the side boxes. I would probably choose a small radius, so that the difference when the box is rendered in old browsers (or with JS disabled) is not that significant.

I would like to keep the icons because they give an (obvious) visual clue of the type of note. The color alone may make the text stand out, but it does not tell the user whether it is informational, a tip or a warning.

As far as intense vs. light colors - it's a matter of taste. IMHO you could spend days tweaking the nuances - but it'd be fun :-)

I think I would also prefer lighter colors. But I would be OK with letting you choose what you think works better in the context of the existing website colors. So, there you go: make your pick. :)

I also like the fixed/reduced width of the boxes. Perhaps we can center them?

Cheers,

Koki
