Yes, good idea.

Well I'm quite new to xhtml, and so i checked out the link included in the
userguide pages (http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml) because I thought it was
something like the xhtml guidelines. Now I've been reading lots about xhtml (my
pages will all be validated by w3c) and I don't know what that link means
really. Anyway, it is after the Doctype call,
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
    "../welcome/html-dtd/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";; lang="en-US" xml:lang="en-US">

If it is supposed to be a link to the xhtml recommendation, the link is
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/

Concerning the numerical indexing, I guess you are right. At least for the
moment, while the UserGuide is under heavy changes, I think keeping the
original manner is alright. The idea of automaticaly outputting the indexes
while converting a file is very interesting. Maybe for a later time.

Thanks again, I'll be posting my progress in about a week I would think. The
USB memory stick section is over now, I'll be starting the building from source
section (which is going to be long because of all the OSes I have to cover).
