Since the guidelines only exist for translations, there's no English
version. I know the documents are currently named e.g. "de.html", "fr.
html" etc. but I don't know where exactly they are stored at
http://userguide.haikuzone.net
and can't seem to find that out from the translation panel from where
these docs are linked...

If only the wiki would be coming along...

At this time, as long as Haiku isn't completely localized, at least the
German translation doesn't change app names or menu names etc.
Everything else, is a matter of definition among the translators. You
have to decide for your language how you address the reader, what
components are to be translated or not (e.g. "Workspaces").
In any case, rule nr.1 should always be not to change the formatting
(<i>,<b>,<span class="menu"> etc.). The rest is up to you.

When you have a preliminary translation guide, send it to Vincent for
linkage, and provide me with your desired username, so I can create
your account.

Thanks!
