The Trackpoint is nothing but a PS/2 mouse, no special drivers are required.It does not work that much differently from a classic ball mouse, anyway. Instead of having opto-sensors to detect ball movement, it has force sensors.
And that's not that much different from joysticks of the 8 bit era, either. Regards, Gabriele
