[haiku-development] svn co of allegro branch

I'm starting to work on Allegro again but when I try to do an svn
checkout of the code in Haiku it's not working.
I've tried:
svn co
https://alleg.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/alleg/allegro/branches/4.3.10plus
but get an error:
svn: PROFIND of '/svnroot/alleg/allegro/brances/4.3.10plus': Could not
read status line: Secure connection truncated
(https://alleg.svn.sourceforge.net)
Running the same line in Ubuntu works without issue. Could this just
be something wrong with the current haiku optional package for
subversion, openssl or openssh?
For subversion i'm showing version 1.4.6 compiled Jun 28, 2008
For openssl i have 0.9.8g Oct 2007
For openssh i have 5.0p1
