Hi All!
At the moment I'm "converting" my sis7018 audio driver from legacy BeOS
R3 API to Haiku multi-audio. Current placement of this project is in
src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/audio/sis7018/
directory.
Some of our audio drivers are placed under
src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/audio/ac97/
directory. What this additional ac97 sub-directory stand for? Are any
shared AC97 capabilities handling code planned for this drivers? Note
that SiS 7018 cards utilize the AC97 CDC possibilities too. Should I
move my sis7018 project directory to ac97 sub-directory? By the way -
emuxki project is also looks like using AC97. But it not reside in ac97. ;-)
Kind Regards,
S.Zharski.
