So, I suggest waddlesplash's permissions for changing access modes on the
IRC channels are revoked.

+1 from me, totally agree. Anyone with that power should only exercise it
after having consulted this mailing list first, and only after getting the
OK, which I would have voted down. The #haiku channel is and always was
meant to be open.
