First let me say this is not a submit patch. This diff was to show the
problems I'm having. That being said, I think my build environment is wrong
for Haiku.
My current setup is:
Dano
haiku revision 21413
gcc -v returns 2.95.3-beos-060710
configure was run with --target=dano
The attached diff are changes
I had to make to deskcalc in order for it to compile. I've had to do
the same thing in some of the original Be sample-code programs. What
I'm wondering is if this is a problem with my setup or with the build
tree. I have both R5 and Dano here and neither build the tree
successfully. I also have not gotten haiku to build. It hits a vfork
problem that I remember from a long time ago as a sign that the wrong tools
were being used. So
I think it's my build tools but I have what the website says to use.
Any help would be appreciated.
