Hello,
the live555 is usually supplied as static library, i.e. they are basically
not providing binary compatibility across "releases".
This is a particular situation as I don't think makes much sense providing
both a live555 and a live555_devel with headers. So I'd go with providing
only a _devel package, is there any other idea or suggestion about that?
