I'm not familiar with the problem either, but AFAIK it's an actual bug
that you have to work around. Is the EC already needed for interrupt
configuration by ACPI?
no the EC is not needed. At the moment I can workaround this by setting it in poll mode but yes later it has to be fixed before irq routing is enabled.
