Sorry but I can't understand what you mean, can you please rephrase ?
Btw there is http://www.scim-im.org/ also pointed from freedesktop but
it seems GPL.

Can run ? as in already ported ?
Btw, I started writing a T9 input method, and a pen input method for
use with an handwriting recognizer, maybe I should drop that on
osdrawer.
